Petform wins NCE Export Award
Petform (Pvt) Ltd, the giant of the plastic and paper-based packaging industry bagged a Bronze Award at the National Export Awards ceremony - 2019 organized by the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE). The prestigious award came from Plastic and Plastic Products Sector, National Level. Mr. Perinpam Mathitharan, Managing Director of, Petform (Pvt) Ltd received the Bronze Award at the gala event held recently in Shangri La Hotel, Colombo.
Petform, specialized in manufacturing PET bottles & lids and paper-based cups & plates, has 4 plants in Delgoda and Malwana with over 200 workforces. The company exports its products to the UK, Saudi Arabia, and the Maldives. Petform is known for high-quality products and accredited with quality certifications ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 18001:2007 and SLS 1336. Mr. Mathitharan expressed his gratitude to all employees who dedicated tirelessly for this achievement and the company's stakeholders without whom the journey towards success would not have been possible.
According to company’s vision to be a world-class innovative packaging solution provider and manufacturer for rising needs and existence of people, Petform is generating and adding 500 Kwh electricity to the national grid by installing solar power generating system within the factory while catering to wide range of products including water, food and beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals with innovative, eco-friendly solutions to maximize customer satisfaction.
Petform is continuously investing in new technologies and researching on new raw materials that will help to reduce the company's carbon footprint. While the company produces only fully recyclable products, based on green manufacturing philosophy it hopes to go a step further to use raw materials decomposed by nature itself.
